![]() I come to you in weakness-timid and trembling. And my message and my [teaching] are very plain. I do not use wise and persuasive [words], but the Holy Spirit who is powerful 1 Corinthians 2:3-4 New Living Translation For me, writing is a privilege and a passion. I love sharing God and His truths through both the written and spoken word. I am humbled and honored that God has allowed my childhood dreams to come to fruition. I've written four novellas, three novels and a nonfiction book along with articles on parenting, marriage, and family issues. I've spoken a few times and taught either women, high school, or college girls God's Word for the past 15 years. My heart for all of us is spiritual growth and an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Besides writing, I lead a college girl's Bible study and facilitate a women's Beth Moore study. I also volunteer on the Foster Care Review Board. I believe as Christians we are called to serve both inside the body of Christ and in the world. My
greatest pleasure, however, is being a wife and mom. This summer Dean and
I will have been married 30 years! We have three adult children. Matt is
28, Kelsy is 25, and Adam is 23. They have filled our lives beyond measure.And then there is Jesus. As I've walked with Him these past 23 years, I have found Him to be all He claims in His Word. He is my faithful and dear companion, He is my hope when life feels hopeless, and He is my redeemer. He gives my life meaning and purpose. It is for Him that I write. My goal and constant prayer is my words will bring Him glory, challenge women to walk with Him more closely, and point the lost to a Savior. I have nothing to offer anyone--in and of myself-but He offers more than we can imagine. |
